Ali Bacon

ali-bacon-webAli is a native Scot living in South Gloucestershire where she writes contemporary and historical fiction.  Her coming-of -age novel A Kettle of Fish was published by Thornberry in 2012.  Her historical debut In the Blink of an Eye (Linen Press 2018) explores the life of artist and photographer David Octavius Hill. Her short stories have been included in a number of anthologies and in 2019 she was the inaugural winner of the Bristol Short Story Prize (Local Writer) Sansom Award.
